How we can help you after you purchase your home

At James Development, our relationship with you continues well beyond the day you move in. We are committed to ensuring you feel supported, reassured, and confident in the quality of your new home. Every new home comes with the peace of mind of a 10-year structural warranty, offering long-term protection against major structural issues. In addition, your home is covered by a 2-year defects period, during which we will address any defects in workmanship or materials that may arise.

We put the same high standards of care and attention into looking after our customers as we do into building our homes. However, we do appreciate that sometimes things can go wrong and so we take complaints very seriously. If you do have a complaint, we do ask you to let us know so that we may have the opportunity to resolve the issue for you and learn from it. We maintain a clear and published complaints policy to ensure all concerns are handled fairly, transparently, and in accordance with the New Home Warranty Code.

Although we hope there will be no issues after you have moved into your new home, our commitment continues after your sale has been completed. If you want to tell us about an issue with your home of which we are not yet aware, please contact our The Sales & Marketing Team at our Head Office. In the unlikely event that they are unable to resolve the matter to your satisfaction, please refer to this formal complaint’s procedure.
